AVL Nevada, LLC donated two Stewart Film Screens and the use of two BenQ DLP Projectors to Civitan Accelerated, a local community service club, for their Las Vegas Annual Helldorado Days Parade float. The float, which was designed and built by AVL staff with the help of Civitan volunteers, featured two screens placed on either side of the float. The rear projection set-up showcased video from service projects completed in the Las Vegas Valley by Civitan Accelerated in the last 12 months.

After working with the volunteer based organization for a little over a year on various projects, AVL’s managing director, Mike Brown-Cestero coined the term, ‘Willing Hands 4 Worthy Causes’, which has since been adopted by the club as its official motto. The company has donated its time and resources to Civitan Accelerated and other various charity organizations in the past and will continue to support those organizations that are committed to making a difference in the Las Vegas valley.

Civitan Accelerated is part of Civitan International, a worldwide, all volunteer service organization where men and women have an organized way of approaching local community problems through service and fund raising.
